I've been to Rose + Mae twice now-- once for a haircut, once for color-- and both times were fantastic experiences. Becca gave me exactly the haircut I was hoping for, and then I went back to her a few weeks later for color! She took me from dull, box-dyed auburn to a GORGEOUS copper blonde color that I'm so happy with. She's seriously a hair wizard. I'll definitely be returning when I need another haircut or color touch ups!

My normal hair stylist was on pregnancy leave and I got lucky and happened upon Megan. She is so kind, listens to what I want, and is willing to go back and change anything I’m not comfortable with. You know how you wish you could tell the truth to your stylist about the things you don’t like or disappointments with your haircut? Well Megan wants to know so she can do the best job possible. So thank you very much! Mine and my wife’s hair looks incredible thanks to you! Also....The decor in this salon is gorgeous and homey. I absolutely love all the plants!

I’ve been a client of Madi Rose’s for the past 3ish years and am so grateful to have found her! All of the stylists/staff are amazing and create such a great environment in the salon. They’re super reasonably priced for the amount of talent these people have and I can’t imagine ever trusting anyone else with my hair as much as I trust Madi Rose! I look forward to every appointment and know that I will be so happy with my hair by the end of the day - whether I decide I need it to be purple or to just keep it simple. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with one of these amazing people!

I have never looked forward to a hair appointment before coming to Rose + Mae! From its boho esthetic, plant filled walls, and seriously inviting staff, visiting R+M feels like visiting a long-time friend. I trust them wholeheartedly!! Thanks to Madi and staff for always nailing it!

I LOVE LOVE this Salon!! I always see Jordi, she is the most talented hairstylist I have had in my life, she is an amazing colorist. My hair looks and feel great!! I get compliments all the time... Everytime I go to see her I leave feeling like a million bucks!! her blow dry and style skills are to die for. I also take my little daughter to see her and she loves it!! Jordi is so great that she can work with any type of hair, texture and ethnicity!! :) i just love her and love this place and its vibe

The reasoning for the 2-stars does not reflect the quality of the artistry, but more so the lack of communication and service. I had come to the salon and was moving to San Diego, but I wanted the owner to do my hair since I had seen her Instagram and it looked good (and I had never had my hair colored before, so I trusted her). I had come in and gotten my hair done and the owner assured me that she would let me know the recipe used for my hair and would be happy to help me find an SD hair girl. After repeated messages from the number on her website, the owner would never reply to me letting me know what "recipe" she used on my hair. This honestly made me feel like since she knew I was moving, she didn't care to help me anymore. Even if she was the best artist in ATL, I can't support a business that doesn't value their customers in this way or care to help past a one-time appointment.

I'm the worlds most picky person when it comes to my hair. My hair is literally my security blanket and if it doesnt look good I dont usually feel so good. I usually leave salons feeling down because I paid so much money and didnt get what I wanted. I took a chance and found Rose and Mae on instagram after searching the hashtag #atlantahairstylist . I had my heart set on Tory after seeing her instagram portfolio. So I took a chance and made an appointment. Its not an easy drive. Its probably an hour out of my way and being a sahm I usually have to have a babysitter help out. Tory was SO accommodating. She helped me get to the salon when I was lost. She asked a billion questions to really get an idea of what I wanted. My favorite question was when I told her I hated the brassiness in my hair she ask "what color is brassy to you?" "Is it orange or yellow. What color do you see?" She told me everyone sees color differently and describes it differently which can lead to miscommunication and something you didnt invision for your hair she didnt ask. I think ive been there 3 times now. And I dont ever want another stylist. She knows exactly what I want, listens, is consistent, and shes fun to talk to! I love the environment there and their salon is adorable. Theyve work their tails off! Definitely recommend this place!

If you are looking for a talented colorist, look no further. Madi and team are THE BEST! I've been so happy with their work and the experience while in the salon is friendly and relaxing! They are some great ladies to chat with as well.

I'm coming at this from a different point of view. I sharpen shears professionally and visit hundreds of salons in the Atlanta and Metro areas. What I see in the most successful salons are the vibes, aura, ambiance, and overall attitude. They nailed it on every aspect, and have a little gem in the heart of Atlanta. Keep up the great feel and attitude!

The sweetest environment in any Atlanta salon. These girls go above and beyond and their clients love them for it! Robin's been giving me instagrammable hair for years - she even goes out of her way to create custom tinted conditioners and treatments! And now there's a bonus: Henry, the salon mascot is an emotional support beagle-basset mix who will sleep on the floor near your chair. Can't even tell you how relaxing it is to soak up all the love and talent in this place. Support babes with big dreams and get great hair in the bargain!

I love the salon location (right by my house!) and the adorable vibe inside. I've known Robin for years and recently visited her to correct my many years of self-coloring. She performed absolute magic on my hair! All of the stylists were so friendly and sweet. If you are looking for a group of incredibly talented stylists at a convenient location, I highly suggest Rose + Mae.
